Work targeting team effectiveness starts with discovery. My approach is to take the time to fully understand the needs of the team. From that discovery process a unique design can be created to best serve the need.  The main value is not found in the actual activity (i.e. one day workshop), rather in the outcomes.

 

An example may be a team that is divided and unable to align on the goals.  The team session may follow a design that allows for honest dialoge. Through the conversations in the session, assumptions are tested, things that need to be said are made explicit, and the team is able to co-create the path. With the team aligned and a clear path created, these outcomes produce a high return.
